About the TC10K
The TC10K will celebrate its 29th year on April 29, 2018. The TC10K is certified by BC Athletics and attracts an excellent field of elite runners as well as thousands of participants that register as part of a team or as an individual.
Starting in downtown Victoria beside the BC Legislature the course winds through the downtown core, and residential areas before circling around to Dallas Road and the water where the route hugs the shoreline for the last 4 km of the race. The sprint to the finish line is fast and straight with the back drop of the Legislative Buildings.
While we have had a half marathon the last two years, after much discussion and consultation with members of the community, our board has decided to review this for 2018. Our mission is to engage as many people from our community at whatever level they feel comfortable, to live a happier and healthier lifestyle.
The TC10K is hosted by RunSport, formerly the Victoria International Running Society, is a non-profit group that supports and organizes many of Vancouver Island’s track and field athletes and events. The RunSport Board of Directors consists of:
- Chris Siver (President)

- Ryan Day (Treasurer)
- Brent Fougner (Member at Large)
