Golden Sneaker Award

The coveted “Golden Sneaker” is presented to the highest fundraising TEAM participating in the TC10K.

In both 2008 and 2009, the team from Custom House won the Golden Sneaker, raising a total of $10,720 for vital research and the promotion of healthy living.

This glittering sneaker (covered in gold sequins) is much sought after and the winners proudly display the trophy in their office for one year.

This year, the “Golden Sneaker” award winning team will receive a $500 gift certificate for lunch or dinner at the Fifth Street Bar & Wood Fired Grill, 1028 Hillside Avenue, Victoria. All pledges must be received by the Heart and Stroke Foundation by the CLOSE of RACE PACKAGE PICKUP on Saturday, April 24th.

Heart of Gold Award

The coveted “Heart of Gold” award will be presented to the individual who raises the most pledges for the Foundation as part of their participation in the TC10K. Pledges can be raised both online and in-person.

In 2009, the “Heart of Gold” was presented to Carol Blevins who raised $2,375 for vital research and the promotion of healthy living.

This year, the “Heart of Gold” winner will receive a $100 gift certificate for lunch or dinner at the Fifth Street Bar & Wood Fired Grill, 1028 Hillside Avenue, Victoria. All pledges must be received by the Heart and Stroke Foundation by the CLOSE of RACE PACKAGE PICKUP on Saturday, April 24th.
