This year, we are proud to announce the TC10k will support Raise-A-Reader.

“Raise-a-Reader” is a campaign which began in 1997 to increase awareness and raise money for childrens’ literacy progams. Low literacy skills are some of society’s hidden handicaps. Statistics show that 22% of adult Canadians have serious problems with reading and comprehension. Raise-a-Reader is designed to address the issues head-on and raise money and awareness, which in turn helps to build stronger communities.
