Timing Chips
Timing for the 2012 TC10K is provided by Race Day Timing Services.
Chronotrack Systems delivers state of the art UHF RFID technology, used by major running events across North America. We are proud to be working with Race Day Timing Services from Victoria, BC to provide you with accurate results using the Chronotrack B-tag System. The B-tag system is easy to use, light weight, and eliminates the worry of lost timing chip fees as the timing chip is attached directly to your race bib!
New this year, the TC10k will offer a participant tracking service with live splits being displayed from 5km, 8km and the finish. Spectators will be able to track up to 5 athletes at the same time on either their computer or mobile device. Athletes will also be able to sign up for Facebook and Twitter broadcasting of their results. Sign up information for these services will be posted in early April 2012.
In order to receive an accurate time, please ensure that your bib is:
- Clearly visible on the front of your torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (do not wrinkle or fold)
- Pinned in all four corners
- Not covered (by a jacket, runner belt, water bottle, etc.)
